DAISY Award Honoree

 Crystal Pearson, LPN, was honored with The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses  for the 1st Quarter of 2011 at OR Nurses, Inc.  The award, presented in collaboration with The American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE), is part of the DAISY Foundation’s program to recognize the super-human efforts nurses perform everyday.

 Crystal was nominated by her co-worker at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  Crystal’s co-worker stated, “Crystal is a great co-worker in her assigned work area, Assessment Triage, and has become a great co-worker in the Medicine Room as well.  Whenever our facility is short staffed, Crystal is always willing to help; with a smile.  She is very professional, demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills and has a positive attitude with her peers, co-workers and patients.  She has the best work ethic.  We are proud to have Crystal working with our patients here at St. Jude.”
